Crafts!
There are multiple programs a month at our library, many of which are craft based! Crafts may include paint, hot glue, stamps, paper, and more! Laughter and good conversations with others from the community is a bonus! Call or stop by the library to find out more information!
Drop-ins are welcome, but please sign up in advance to help us ensure there are enough supplies for everyone.
Clubs!
We have several ongoing clubs including:
Book Club: 2nd Tuesdays at 10:00-11:00am. Call or stop by the library to see what book they are reading this month.
Silent Book Club: 4th Tuesdays at 5:00-6:00pm. There is no specified book, so just bring your current read, or pick a new one while you’re here! Then join us in reading in companionable silence – whether you are trying to make time to get back into novels, or you are studying for a big test coming up, sometimes it’s nice to be around other people while you all meet your goals together, even if you don’t talk. (That way no one can distract you from the plot of your book.) No need to register – just drop by!
BYOC (Bring Your Own Craft Club): every Wednesday from 5:00-7:00pm. Patrons age 15-99 are invited to come and craft every week! Bring your current project to work on at the library. We will provide a cozy place to sit, chit chat, and meet new people. No need to register – just drop by!
These miniature rooms made out of recycled books, and other odds and ends, should be a great time and an adorable decor piece. We should be outfitted for each “room” to have a tiny bookshelf in it, as well as other furnishings and decor to make a cozy little book nook!
Bookscape Club: 3rd Thursdays at 4-5pm MST. This 2-part program we started in the summer has grown to a monthly club! New members are welcome! Please sign up in advance to ensure we have enough supplies for everyone. We will provide books and supplies, but if you have anything special you would like to use, you are welcome to bring it! Ages 10-100

Humanities Kansas TALK Book Discussions: throughout the Spring and Fall we are honored to host Humanities Kansas TALK Book Discussions. These Discussions are over a range of topics and books that a special guest speaker will visit with use about. Stop by the library to see which upcoming book will be discussed! You won’t want to miss these discussions
Presentations and Talks: We have speakers come periodically, usually with the help of Humanities Kansas. so keep an eye out for those programs – we learn about all sorts of things!
