Are you looking for an opportunity to relax and take a break form “adulting” but think libraries only have activities for children? Look no further! Check out some of our adult projects below and contact us at the library if you have any questions!
Recycled Book Art
Goodland Public Library offers recycled book art classes! We assist in teaching you how to cut, fold, glue and otherwise transform the books into amazing works of art. You get a choice between two fun projects chosen by our staff and all supplies are provided by the Library!
Gather a group consisting of four people (One of them at least 18 years old) and spend your evening eating snacks and putting together a puzzle provided to you from the library! Come up with a team name and sign in with the library staff to get started. Family groups get 300 pieces and Adult groups get 500 pieces! Prizes are awarded too!
Our Mandala Art class consists of dot painting! Oftentimes, many people use dot painting as an art therapy tool to relax overworked minds. The technique for this dot art is very simple and even if you’re not very good at drawing, it is easy to do!
